{"id":4183,"date":"2017-12-06T15:30:49","date_gmt":"2017-12-06T04:30:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/?p=4183"},"modified":"2018-01-30T18:26:47","modified_gmt":"2018-01-30T07:26:47","slug":"boutique-bikers-change-gears","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/living\/boutique-bikers-change-gears\/","title":{"rendered":"Boutique Bikers change gears"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Nevermind, Geelong\u2019s first boutique motorcycle shop, is providing seasoned and would-be riders everything needed for their next adventure.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Customers can purchase their new wheels in store while sourcing quality protective clothing, travel gear, leather goods and travel information.<\/p>\n<p>Founder Matt Natonewski said they moved into 224 Pakington Street in 2016 and became a licensed motor vehicle trader in May, hoping to inspire more people to travel and ride.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTravel and motorcycles have always gone together and the more people getting out of their comfort zone and travelling the world on bikes the better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Matt said the business has a proud association with Royal Enfield bikes, which were originally a British cult brand but are now manufactured in Chennai, India.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 350-500cc models are ideal for cruising or rumbling in small-group rides: India, travel motorcycles and Royal Enfield bikes are my life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve lived and breathed these passions for nearly 40 years and now I\u2019m sharing it with the Geelong community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said his company has been operating adventure rides though Rajasthan, southern India, Nepal and the Himalayas for almost six years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRecently we\u2019ve added new adventure trips through the wilderness of Tasmania and the jungles of Vietnam with experienced team members from Australia leading all rides.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNevermind adventure travel appeals to solo riders and people wanting to ride with partners, family and friends and we especially encourage new riders and women.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Matt said the groups are small, and a new model Royal Enfield, mechanics and support vehicles were included as part of the package.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re also conducting one- and three-day escapes through the Otway Ranges along the Great Ocean Road.
