A TEAM member at the Woolworths supermarket at The Dunes Village Shopping Centre in Torquay North who initially tested positive to COVID-19 has been reclassified as a false positive.
\nOn 31 August Woolworths Group released a statement<\/a> alerting the community to the worker’s positive result, but has today said the Barwon Health Contact Tracing Team reported the worker had ultimately tested negative to COVID-19.
\nThe staff member isolated after the result, and Woolworths contacted other employees at the store having them self isolate while providing support as required and in line with advice from the health authorities.
\nWoolworths also undertook an additional deep clean of the store.
\nPeople showing symptoms, however mild, should get tested.<\/em>
