NEXT year\u2019s Apollo Bay Seafood Festival will expand to a three-day event thanks to a funding boost from the state government.<\/p>\n
Member for Western Victoria Gayle Tierney announced last week that Apollo Bay Seafood Festival has secured a $10,000 grant through the Labor Government\u2019s Regional Events Fund.<\/p>\n
The family-friendly event features cooking demonstrations from local and celebrity chefs, live entertainment, market stalls and locally brewed beers and ciders from Prickly Moses.<\/p>\n
Showcasing the best of the region\u2019s fresh and local seafood, the Festival is a key date on the region\u2019s events calendar, attracting 15,000 people each year.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re proud to be supporting the 2018 Apollo Bay Seafood Festival, an event that showcases the best of the region\u2019s fresh, local seafood,\u201d Ms Tierney said.<\/p>\n
