Her blog, Shannon\u2019s Kitchen, began as a hobby a few years ago and her online community includes readers from across the world, all of whom are awesome and often a little weird.<\/p>\n

Shannon is enthusiastic about healthy eating but thinks diet culture can go where the sun don\u2019t shine.<\/p>\n

Shannon\u2019s Kitchen: Healthy Food You\u2019ll Actually F**king Eat is silly, full of inappropriate language, hilarious stories, but most importantly the recipes are achievable, tasty and will give readers food they\u2019ll actually eat.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe book was born from my blog, Shannon\u2019s Kitchen, which I started three years ago for a giggle,\u201d Shannon said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was tired of healthy food blogs all feeling the same – too damn perfect. They didn\u2019t feel genuine. They felt too preachy and controlled. I wanted to counter that with something a bit loose and funny.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want people to have a laugh and embrace the message that healthy eating isn’t all or nothing. It can be relaxed and enjoyable.\u201d<\/p>\n

That\u2019s where Shannon\u2019s Kitchen comes in, with 60 easy-to-follow recipes for healthy food you\u2019ll eat. Shannon has set out to shake up the health food world, with zero tolerance for the bullshit.<\/p>\n

\u201cEat your bloody vegetables and everything will be ok. And if you wake up in the middle of the night with your partner is missing from bed and in their place, is a pillowcase\u2026 do not look under it (you can find out why on the Green Curry Salad page).<\/p>\n
