THE Kids\u2019 Art Bash is off to a flying start over the school holidays.<\/p>\n

The arts program is run by Anglesea Art House and kicked off on January 2, running all the way through until January 24, and the Kids\u2019 Art Bash is already a hit.<\/p>\n

Anglesea Art House president Jennifer O\u2019Sullivan said numbers were up and she felt that was because many people were remaining local over the holidays.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s been a very good start … we would have had nearly 100 kids each day and they’re loving it, you can see it on their smiling faces,\u201d Ms O\u2019Sullivan said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think we’re seeing more people, I think because people are doing things regionally, I think we’re definitely seeing an increase.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s been local, a lot along the Surf Coast.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut there’s also a lot of people that normally come down … we’ve had people from Ballarat, Warrnambool, Bendigo, we’ve had some regulars come down.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt services all the needs, it’s great for us because we’re fundraising \u2026 and it gives people another option over the summer.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Art Bash is all about kids accessing their creative side after a year largely spent indoors.<\/p>\n

A range of creative stations are available, all from just $5.<\/p>\n

The Art Bash will open at 10am and run through to 4pm. The event is run by Anglesea Art House volunteers with more than 60 members participating.<\/p>\n

Bookings can be made online and will be prioritised, but Ms O\u2019Sullivan said everyone was welcome to come along, as the event maintains COVIDSafe protocols.
