ON WEDNESDAY December 6, the Men played a Combined Par event, with a few friendships formed and a few broken.<\/p>\n
The winners were Les Cooper and John Somerset with a combined score of +7.<\/p>\n

On Thursday December 7, the Women played Stableford, while our team of 11 players hosted Torquay Golf Club to contest the Joyce Graham Cup.<\/p>\n
Captain Marg DeVries led our team beautifully and we were pleased to win the Cup.<\/p>\n
In the Stableford event Suellen Eskrigge won A Grade with her score of 34 points, on a countback from runner-up Janet Coombes, also with 34 points.<\/p>\n
Sue Caldwell won B Grade with 34 points, while Veronica Shaw finished runner-up with 33 points.<\/p>\n
Jenny Inman won C Grade with 36 points while Jenny Kaye finished runner-up with 32 points.<\/p>\n

Valda Connelly won the Gold Tee nine-hole competition with 19 points.<\/p>\n
On Saturday December 9, the Men and Women played Stableford.<\/p>\n
The Men\u2019s A Grade Winner was Chris Duffield with 40 points, from runner-up Shane Thompson with 39 points.<\/p>\n
The B Grade winner was Garry Beurteaux with 43 points from runner-up Geoff Matthews who had 39.<\/p>\n
Wayne McIntyre won C Grade with 41 points from runner-up Colin Favre who scored 39 points. Ball rundown to 37 points on countback.<\/p>\n
Women\u2019s Winner Sue Bowler with 35 points. NTPs: 3rd Peter Atherden, 6th Paul Brennan, 13th Andrew Daffy and Jackpot 16th David Goldsmith.<\/p>\n
Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s Stableford was played on Sunday December 10.<\/p>\n
