The Potato Shed is set for another big year with the Drysdale arts venue to host a variety of contemporary arts events in 2018.<\/p>\n

The new season launch highlighted that the Melbourne Theatre Company\u2019s Hungry Ghosts; Michael Veitch\u2019s Hell Ship: The Journey of the Ticonderoga; and Hit Production\u2019s Hotel Sorrento would be part of an eclectic range of cultural activities to hit the Potato Shed in 2018.<\/p>\n

Last week\u2019s launch was attended by acclaimed Australian playwright Hannie Rayson, one-man-show Michael Veitch and featured music from Clare St Clare.<\/p>\n

Hannie Rayson, playwright of Hotel Sorrento, said she loved the Potato Shed.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a model of community theatre. It\u2019s such a great environment that is beloved by the community and the repertoire for 2018 is terrific. I wish it was my local!\u201d<\/p>\n

The Potato Shed 2018 season also features an extensive school holiday program, culminating with the annual Family Fun Day in late October.<\/p>\n
