<\/p>\nGEELONG’S property boom is alive and kicking in Lara West\u2019s new growth area with land sales nothing short of thriving.<\/p>\n
Nowhere is this more obvious than Villawood Properties\u2019 premium 1100-lot Coridale project where the developer, with 250 sales under its belt, has just titled its first three stages.<\/p>\n
This makes Coridale the first project in the Lara West precinct to obtain permits, start civil construction and then open for building.<\/p>\n
Villawood has also released renders of an exclusive, $6.5 million resort-style Residents\u2019 Club it will start building at Coridale next year.<\/p>\n
The club, with a gym, swimming pool, family and multi-purpose spaces, cafe and more, follows the lead of Villawood\u2019s Club Armstrong at its masterplan-awarded Armstrong Mount Duneed community.<\/p>\n
Coridale is further set to host an exciting new display village with 30 homes, featuring all of Victoria\u2019s leading builders and with the best and latest in contemporary designs.<\/p>\n
As with all Villawood projects, Coridale will feature extensive parks, playgrounds, open space and retail and community services.<\/p>\n
With allotments in easy walking distance to schools and sporting fields, Coridale is the premium offering in Lara.<\/p>\n
And with the property boom continuing to drive Geelong\u2019s post-COVID economy, figures compiled by Villawood show its three major Geelong region projects \u2013 Coridale, Armstrong Mount Duneed and Wandana \u2013 support 1,900 jobs, 1,500 of them for locals, contributing an estimated $300 million locally a year.<\/p>\n
In addition, Villawood offers a $20,000 saving, with 20 per cent of land set aside, to essential care workers such as nurses, paramedics, police, teachers, firefighters and personal carers.<\/p>\n
It also gives a block of land to State forest for every residential lot it sells, with a total 580 hectares donated to date.<\/p>\n
