AS PART of the Surf Coast Shire’s Connecting Torquay Town Centre strategy, three new pedestrian crossings will be installed in Torquay’s Town Centre.<\/p>\n

The crossings will be installed at Bristol Road (near the corner of Walker Street), Pearl Street (Boston Road end), and Gilbert Street (where the asphalt and brick pavers intersect).<\/p>\n
The project is part of the Torquay Town Centre Urban Design Framework, which was developed in 2017 and aims to create clear and effective connections throughout the Torquay Town Centre.<\/span><\/p>\n
Works will start on Monday, August 2 and take three weeks to complete (one week at each location).<\/span><\/p>\n
