Chime in the New Year at one of the Bellarine\u2019s most beautiful vineyards, Terindah Estate, taking in the spectacular views across Port Phillip, while sipping on the estate\u2019s award-winning wines. Guests are invited to arrive from 8pm, greeted with a glass of sparkling before settling in on the open lawns to listen to a live DJ. Canap\u00e9s will be flowing throughout the evening, and will include freshly shucked oysters as well as a selection of seasonally inspired hot and cold dishes. All of the estate\u2019s wines will be available for purchase. At midnight, a live fireworks display will span across the bay and provide the perfect backdrop to celebrate the arrival of 2018. New Year\u2019s Eve is happening early on the Surf Coast, with fireworks scheduled for 9.30pm in Lorne and Torquay. No public entertainment will be provided, with fireworks to be visible from most residential properties. Pet owners are reminded to have their pets secured before the 9.30pm fireworks and throughout the evening. Lorne Foreshore and the Torquay Hill will be alcohol and glass free, with security checking bags on entry. Local laws prohibiting drinking in public, glass in glass-free areas including foreshore and beaches and sleeping in cars will also be enforced, while booze buses and random breath tests will also be operating.<\/p>\n
If you want to wake up in a beautiful beach town next year, then Torquay Hotel is the place to be on New Year\u2019s Eve with two fantastic special guests bringing the tunes into 2018. Doors open at 3pm for guests to enjoy the Pimms Garden Bar with friends and family while drinking a refreshing beer or Fros\u00e9.
