Our friendly local fisherman and their catches\u00a0will be the stars of the show at Bellarine Estate\u2019s World\u2019s Longest Lunch.<\/p>\n
To be held tomorrow (Friday) from midday, the event is a spinoff of the Melbourne World\u2019s Longest Lunch, which heralds the beginning of the renowned Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.<\/p>\n
The World\u2019s Longest Lunch encourages Victorians to gather together to indulge in the offerings of the state\u2019s best makers and producers, and at Bellarine Estate, the tables will be laden with four courses of delicious local seafood accompanied by local wines, beers and ciders.<\/p>\n
If seafood is not to your liking, or if you have special dietary requirements, simply contact Bellarine Estate with your booking number ahead of the event to arrange for a suitable meal.<\/p>\n
The team from Faith Kitchen will also be on board to make the lunch one to remember.<\/p>\n
Faith Kitchen is the result of a program that engages local secondary students, training them to operate a restaurant including cooking and serving duties.<\/p>\n
vineyards, or for the more energetic, put on your dancing shoes for live music on the lawns.<\/p>\n
All proceeds from the event will go to local youth-based charity Ten02.<\/p>\n
Ten02 encourages youth to work alongside adults to learn vital life skills while giving back to the local community.<\/p>\n
