<\/p>\nA LOCAL family-owned business, co-founded by high-profile Port Adelaide AFL player Travis Boak, is set to provide much-needed support through a new initiative to help a Geelong charity.<\/p>\n
Rogers Underwear will donate 100 per cent of the profits from sales of Rogers\u2019 Underwear new Geelong Mums Collection throughout October.
\nThe exclusive underwear range can be bought online and Geelong Mums will be able to use funds raised to buy essential items for young families in the region who are in need.<\/p>\n
Growing up on the Surf Coast, Travis teamed with cousins Brent and Cherie Dixon from Torquay to create Rogers Underwear 2015, with a focus on quality and affordability.<\/p>\n
Travis\u2019s late father and Brent\u2019s uncle, Roger Boak, was inspiration for the brand name, with family and friends playing key roles in the business which has a loyal following in Adelaide and continues to grow in Geelong and the Surf Coast.<\/p>\n
Cherie said Travis had strong connections with various charities and they were all really keen to support a Geelong region charity through
\nthe business.<\/p>\n
She said this month\u2019s initiative was Rogers Underwear\u2019s first fundraiser for Geelong Mums.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe reached out to Geelong Mums and they appreciate the support; we understand they\u2019ve been having a particularly tough time during lockdowns and restrictions.<\/p>\n
\u201cRogers is thrilled to be supporting Geelong Mums this October with 100 percent of proceeds from the Geelong Mums Collection going towards this incredible charity.\u201d<\/p>\n
Cherie said the collection included black and grey bralettes and briefs, and all products were in packs of three.<\/p>\n

\u201cAny stock remaining in this collection will be gifted to Geelong Mums at the end of October to go towards women and children in need.\u201d<\/p>\n
Geelong Mums collects, sorts and redistributes essential items for babies and school aged children in the region, relying on volunteers to keep the charity operating.<\/p>\n
In 2020-21, Geelong Mums supported more than 6,000 babies and children and rehomed more than 18,000 items to families.<\/p>\n
