AN OVERWHELMING response to this year\u2019s Surf Coast Longboarders women\u2019s day competition has seen organisers cap numbers at 50 entrants.<\/p>\n
Competitors are local and coming from Tasmania and Melbourne, aged from seven to 65 with many mother\/daughter combos.<\/p>\n
Those planning on entering on the day may have to be content with yoga, music, female comradery.<\/p>\n
The Fitness Movement will run beachside massage and Rachel Hely will hold morning yoga and Joey Remenyi in the afternoon.<\/p>\n
Fingers are crossed for weather and Huey has been sent the swell order.<\/p>\n
Competitors and spectators should keep a days prior to Saturday March 5.<\/p>\n
The playlist is set with the likes of legendary ladies Patti Smith, Aretha Franklin, Etta James and Courtney Barnett.<\/p>\n
Bonappuccino have coffee and tea sorted, the club barbecue will sizzle with Freshwater Creek free-range eggs, and Peaches and Surf Coast Wholefoods have packed boxes of fruit and nuts.<\/p>\n
