THE Torquay Community Health Centre on the Surf Coast Highway will switch the temporary COVID-19 testing location on site back to clinical services to support the reactivation of its community health services from December 1.<\/p>\n

Barwon Health and Australian Clinical Labs have agreed to work together over summer to provide a permanent COVID testing site at Spring Creek Reserve, Torquay.<\/p>\n

Barwon Heath says the change is in response to recent changes to how COVID-19 is managed, and in recognition of the Geelong region\u2019s high vaccination rates.<\/p>\n

“This is positive news for the community and visitors to our region, who will continue to have easy access to testing.<\/p>\n

“We ask the community to continue to remain vigilant and to get tested at the earliest sign of COVID-19 symptoms or following attendance at an exposure site.”<\/p>\n
