The Surf Coast Gallery launched the Surf Coast Seascapes exhibition last Friday night, with more than 70 people in attendance.<\/p>\n

The exhibition showcases paintings from local artists Adam Stanley and Jackie Burke, as well as glass waves from Jennifer O\u2019Sullivan. Peter Barfoot is exhibiting wooden benches, tables and etching with materials all locally sourced.<\/p>\n

Exhibition curator Adam Stanley was really pleased with how the opening went and is looking forward to more people visiting the exhibition.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had a full house during the night at one point and it was great to see everyone having a great time,\u201d Adam said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt definitely went better than expected, so I\u2019m now hoping we can run another exhibition at Easter.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope those who come and visit the exhibition are able to see something they haven\u2019t seen before. It\u2019s very different <\/p>\n

The Surf Coast Gallery is located at Shop 2\/12 Gilbert Street, Torquay and open daily from 10am-4pm through January.<\/p>\n
