Before Christmas, Kahle said that each Wednesday the club would cook around 60 meals to facilitate dinners for all the junior families, creating for a fun and inclusive environment each training night.<\/p>\n
The club sees several holes in its junior pathways, particularly on the junior female side, despite its senior team\u2019s success.<\/p>\n
\u201cAbsolutely we would love to have a girls\u2019 side at the club in the next couple of years,\u201d Kahle said.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur senior women\u2019s side is sitting third in its competition, which sets an excellent example for prospective girls\u2019 players.\u201d<\/p>\n
The club\u2019s senior women\u2019s side competes in the Barwon Women\u2019s Cricket Competition\u2019s C Grade competition.<\/p>\n
Modewarre\u2019s efforts as a community remain strong, evidenced by the completion of its main oval\u2019s traditional \u201cwhite picket fence\u201d costing the club $40,000 \u2013 the club\u2019s most recent project.<\/p>\n
The club with the assistance of its greater community within and outside of the organisation completed the purchase and construction of the fence back in November, adding to Mount Moriac Recreation Reserve\u2019s picturesque views.<\/p>\n
To show appreciation those who donated their money to the club\u2019s new fence, the name of the individual or the family will be inscribed on either a panel or paling dependant on the amount of money.<\/p>\n
