Photo: MARCEL BERENS\/SPORTS MEDIA IMAGES<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAll-around the race was fantastic, and the weather was great, and the day as a whole was a successful one to say the least,\u201d Buchholz said following the win.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe won the event two years ago, but this new boat we had worked wonders. We had constant breeze the whole way down to Geelong and we\u2019re super thrilled with the result.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 530px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/01\/061A5215_70404.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Extasea skipper Paul Buchholz was all smiles after winning his second Passage Race last Friday. Photo: MARCEL BERENS\/SPORTS MEDIA IMAGES<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On the entertainment side of things, the new venture \u2018Gigs by Festival of Sails\u2019, a program bringing live music and local talent to businesses and venues across the Geelong CBD and was a success according to Mr Bennett.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038\" src=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/01\/SaltyDingoBoatSh_80011.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"373\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Accompanying the boats was roughly 2,000 sailors to celebrate the 179th anniversary of the Festival of Sails.
