ANOTHER large section of the Demon\u2019s Bluff cliff face collapsed last week, the second in four months.<\/p>\n

According to Parks Victoria Acting District Manager Stephen Parker the latest fall occurred \u201cjust prior to the weekend of 22 and 23 January.\u201d<\/p>\n

Locals report the fall to have occurred around 8am Friday, January 21.<\/p>\n

Ocean waters around Anglesea were murky over the weekend as the high tides dragged the cliff face out to sea.<\/p>\n

Recent drone footage shot while travelling along the top of the cliff face reveals several other large fissures.<\/p>\n

The area was permanently closed by Parks Victoria and Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority in September last year due to the ongoing risk of cliff collapses, with signage in the area to warn people against entering.<\/p>\n

A man in his 20s died on New Year\u2019s Eve when a section of cliffs collapsed nearby at the Jarosite headland between Pt Addis and Southside beaches.<\/p>\n

Parks Victoria says a 450-metre-long partial beach closure will remain there until further notice.<\/p>\n
