All are working tirelessly to further develop or finalise their pieces in response to our beautiful location.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to welcoming art lovers to our iconic town by the sea.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some notable works of the 16 dedicated precincts along Lorne\u2019s foreshore include Maree Clarke\u2019s piece Remember Me 2021\/22 using contemporary materials to connect to Lorne\u2019s past and present, Simon Normand\u2019s sculpture The Estuary focusing on the plight of the Hooded Plover, and Clayton Burke\u2019s Fig Tree highlighting the historical and social significance of the Moreton Bay Fig next to the original surf club.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_64598\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-64598\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-64598 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/02\/LSB-Simon-Buttonshaw-1-600x380.jpg?_t=1644898205\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"380\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-64598\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Artist Simon Buttonshaw at Lorne point.
