HONU Honi Surf Camp is the only dedicated surf camp in Victoria, specialising in adult surf education and experiences.<\/p>\n

While we teach adults at all levels, we specialise in taking people from standing in the whitewash to riding unbroken waves out the back.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve developed the H.H.SURF Method \u2013 a framework that prioritises ocean awareness, mindset, fun, and exercise physiology principles in the way we teach surfing.<\/p>\n

We believe that teaching good board control, how to read forecasts, surf etiquette, and much more are just as crucial as learning how to stand on a board and move around in the water.<\/p>\n

All of our services are for adults only, as we firmly believe that this provides a better learning environment to ensure our guests get exactly what they want out of their time with us.<\/p>\n

We put a strong social conscience at the forefront of everything we do.<\/p>\n

We believe in taking care of our environment, acknowledging and honouring the First Nations people of this land, and talking openly about other social issues such as mental health.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re focused on building a real sense of community within our surf camp experiences, and want our participants to feel connected \u2013 to the community and the planet \u2013 while staying with us.<\/p>\n

Our surf camps are an all-inclusive experience, with luxe glamping on the Torquay foreshore in big<\/p>\n

beautiful bell tents, surf lessons, yoga classes, all meals provided, surf theory and fitness, and unlimited use of all our equipment throughout the camp.<\/p>\n

We run week-long and weekend camps year-round, showcasing our beautiful area to visitors.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re running a local program this year called Winter Waves, which will run once a week for six consecutive weeks.<\/p>\n

This gives our local community the chance to learn through our unique framework while still going about their day-to-day lives.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re really excited to share more of what we do with our local community.<\/p>\n

Our core mission through all our offerings is to build community and connection \u2013 through surf lessons, having wild fun and adventures together, shared meals, and time spent in nature.<\/p>\n
