THE Sands Torquay are not only firing up their venue as a new musical hub but also as a place that families, singles and groups of friends can enjoy.<\/p>\n

The resort has announced its new family-friendly Sundays, which are set to include casual and family friendly grazing, a designated kids\u2019 entertainment space, footy on the big screens and acoustic music from 2-5pm.<\/p>\n

The Sands Torquay co-owner Kerstin Grant believes that the venue\u2019s versatility and ability to transform into a place for everyone will continue to bring people towards the resort.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere really is something for everyone at The Sands Torquay and we\u2019ve made a distinct effort to really accommodate all people from children all the way through to the elderly,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur family-friendly Sundays are a great way for visitors to enjoy the beautiful views of the location, all whilst being in the comfort of a warm and vibrant environment.<\/p>\n

The Sands offers the best local wines, beers and cocktails for the adults to enjoy.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve got the best local wines, beers and cocktails for the adults to enjoy whilst the acoustic music and footy is on and the kids can sit in the designated kids\u2019 area and enjoy a movie, play with toys and draw.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe space allows for families to bring their children and enjoy the peace and quiet, but also means couples and friends can enjoy the longest bar in the hemisphere with no children running ragged.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Sands ownership group is creating an environment that is not just for private events and golf fans, but a spot that anyone is welcome to enjoy for any occasion.<\/p>\n
