Torquay Dance Academy will be putting on its tenth show this year and it all started when Ms Fraser created her specialised and unique way of teaching ballet to Under 5s “Tinkerballerinas” famous on the Surf Coast.<\/p>\n
“I’ve spent a decade inspiring little ones to dance and making sure they are taught the fundamentals of ballet but in such an engaging and creative way they don’t even realise they’re learning,” she says.<\/p>\n
“I’m really proud of what I’ve created and so proud of the qualified dance teachers who are now heading up each department.”<\/p>\n
Many Surf Coast children have been a part of one of their famous School Holiday Dance Camps, with the last one over the Easter break seeing Surf Coast kids produce a music video on the shores of the main beach.<\/p>\n
