This sunday the Torquay Tigers senior cricket team will take on Marshall in the final of the gCa\u2019s division 2 20\/20 competition. Starting at 2.30pm at south Barwon Oval no.2 (on Barwon Heads road, south Barwon reserve, Belmont), locals are encouraged to get behind their cricket team. Although the Torquay Tigers won\u2019t have their overseas star Michael Jones appearing on the day, the team will still have some quality players who are no doubt hungry for more success. Following their resounding win over crosstown rivals Jan Juc in the annual \u201cBattle of the Bridge\u201d, the players are looking to continue their winning ways in the short form of the game.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
