The project seeks to elevate the power of an optimistic mindset through art therapy and was coordinated by parent, artist and local business director of ‘art and healing’ Julie Clarke, whose mission is to support emotional wellbeing through creativity.<\/p>\n
“The beauty of this project is that there is a tangible product at the end,” Ms Clarke said.<\/p>\n
“Positive affirmations are encouraging phrases or statements which can counteract unhelpful thoughts. Encouraging the students to have positive thoughts or change the way they process information in a more positive context, we hope, will help the wellbeing of the Aireys primary school children.<\/p>\n
