THE GREAT Victorian Bike Ride is back in 2022 and will explore the iconic Great Ocean Road as part of three different riding options.<\/p>\n

November 26 will be the event’s return since 2019, giving riding enthusiasts the opportunity to see the beautiful and diverse scenery of the Great Ocean Road, while riding alongside like-minded people from across Australia.<\/p>\n

Beginning in 1984, the ride has gathered a reputation among cyclists of varying abilities as being more than a cycling event and rather a chance to catch up with friends and family to soak up an experience full of entertainment.<\/p>\n

Each day the bike festival will pedal into a new town, setting up camp where visitors can enjoy an afternoon and evening of entertainment and activities including live music, comedy, yoga, an outdoor cinema and much more.<\/p>\n

In 2022, the event will consist of three different trails, a three-day 212km course that explores the GOR and the Golden Plains Shire, a five-day 310km ride which takes riders along the Volcanic lakes and through the Otway rainforests, or a full nine-day experience that explores all the beautiful parts of Victoria across 522km of bush and coastline.<\/p>\n

“The Great Vic is Australia’s most iconic riding holiday,” Bicycle Network General Manager of Events Caitlin Borchers said.<\/p>\n

“This will be an iconic Great Vic with riders enjoying the best parts of Western Victoria, charming host towns and incredible scenery.”<\/p>\n
