“I was gobsmacked by the generosity of my friends and family, I think because it’s a disease that everyone is affected by one way or another it is something that everyone doesn’t mind supporting,” Simpson said.<\/p>\n
“To double my original goal makes me very proud and to know that the money is going to go to a great cause.<\/p>\n
“The head will be a little cold and it feels a bit strange to have the shaved head but I’ll just have to sunscreen up and wear a hat or beanie till it warms up!”<\/p>\n
