{"id":79223,"date":"2022-09-21T04:00:36","date_gmt":"2022-09-20T18:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/?p=79223"},"modified":"2022-09-14T10:07:59","modified_gmt":"2022-09-14T00:07:59","slug":"pet-pics-sought-for-calendar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/surfcoasttimes\/news\/pet-pics-sought-for-calendar\/","title":{"rendered":"Pet pics sought for calendar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TO CELEBRATE the role that pets play in the Surf Coast community, a Torquay real estate agency are bringing a new Surf Coast pet calendar to life.<\/p>\n<p>There are more than 7,000 pets registered across the Surf Coast, and Hayden Real Estate in Torquay want to create a calendar that showcases and champions the region&#8217;s beautiful fluffy friends.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Over the past few years due to COVID we have seen an increase in the number of pets and companion animals, and we thought that a calendar was a great way to showcase some of the Surf Coast&#8217;s great pets,&#8221; Hayden Real Estate Torquay director Ben Smith said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Whenever you go for a walk along the tracks or down to the beaches, you can&#8217;t help but notice the number of dogs enjoying themselves.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;However, the calendar isn&#8217;t just restricted to dogs, we want to see any type of pets that people have: dogs, cats, birds, lizards and much more.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The feedback and number of entries so far has been great to see and we&#8217;re really excited to see the finished product.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_79224\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-79224\" style=\"width: 400px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-79224\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/09\/IMG-2828_40963.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-79224\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Archy the rough collie.
