Surf Coast’s newest forest school offers children ‘truly unique outdoor experiences’ beginning these school holidays.<\/p>\n

If you have a wild child on your hands, one that loves wild adventure and the outdoors, then KIN (Kids in Nature), a new Surf Coast venture that offers wild adventure play for children, may just have something for you these school holidays.<\/p>\n

With a wide range of exciting programs on offer from their signature program WildCraft – an adventure program inspired by the game Minecraft – to simple bow and arrow making, cubby building, fire lighting and campfire cooking, there is something for every young adventurer.<\/p>\n

Based in Torquay, and aimed at children aged 7-12, KIN director and local Sarah Bolus said she was excited to be launching the new business these school holidays.<\/p>\n

“It has been a long time in the making. Our vision is to reclaim the outdoor childhoods of our past, by offering opportunities for children to reconnect with nature, get off screens and get outdoors.”<\/p>\n

“I truly believe that these experiences, and the sense of freedom I had as a child, has shaped who I am today,” Sarah said.<\/p>\n

KIN is run by fully qualified staff with training and experience in forest school leadership, outdoor education, early years as well as primary and secondary teaching.<\/p>\n

KIN also runs nature playgroups and wildplay adventure kinder programs during term.<\/p>\n

Bookings are now open for both their school holiday program and term programs.<\/p>\n
