Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In our first year of having this group we have been really humbled to help many in our community, including Geelong Mums, Surf Coast Wildlife Rescue, Feed Me Surf Coast and many other charitable organisations.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a lovely come and chat kind of setting and we are always welcome to new members who want to come down and be a part of what we are doing.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are also very thankful for the grants that we have been given that have helped us buy new sewing machines and overlockers, which certainly make our jobs a bit easier.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We encourage any groups or people in need to let us know, we are always here to lend a hand and help where we can.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_80531\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-80531\" style=\"width: 320px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-80531 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/09\/274487177_1022782884_68068-1-e1664246477139-320x380.jpg?_t=1664246479\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"380\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-80531\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sewing with a Purpose is on the first, third and fifth Monday of each month at the Anglesea Community House.
