Photos: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have 35 lovely volunteers folding and delivering the seed packs all around the Surf Coast to towns like Torquay, Jan Juc and down to Anglesea,&#8221; Ms McNamee said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In the coming weeks, we&#8217;ll be approaching more than half a dozen cafes, ones that helped us out last season, and others to give us an extra hand spreading the sunflower joy.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Seeds will also be available in front of eight homes and the Torquay Library.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The seeds are wonderful signs of hope and promise and the sunflowers themselves are so bright and joyful.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_81189\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-81189\" style=\"width: 399px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-81189 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/10\/Martinandthebroom_49076_tn-399x380.jpg?_t=1664493393\" alt=\"\" width=\"399\" height=\"380\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-81189\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jan Juc resident Martin Hooper came up with some unorthodox solutions to fending off pesky cockatoos last summer.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re looking to host the day in early February with a confirmed date to be announced a little closer to the event.
