Labor says it has invested more than $1.6 billion to upgrade and improve recreation reserves and sports grounds across Victoria, including better playing surfaces, new scoreboards, lighting upgrades and changing facilities.<\/p>\n
Last week, Ms Hussein also met with members of Southern Otway Landcare Network to announce a re-elected Andrews Government would help them keep protecting the biodiversity and the promotion of sustainable land management across the Otways.<\/p>\n
Ms Hussein said her $50,000 commitment would support the grassroots community program to look after the environment and help Victorians learn more about biodiversity and protecting the state’s native plants, insects and wildlife.<\/p>\n
“Everyone knows how vital it is to look after and protect our Otways \u2013 this grant demonstrates our support to the Southern Otway Landcare Network and their team.”<\/p>\n
“Only Labor will support the grassroot community groups that are working hard to protect our environment.”<\/p>\n
