In front of a crowd of about 40 people the auctioneer, Geoff Bennett, presented the property to the market with the assistance of John McMahon and Graeme McCartney.<\/p>\n
Bidding quickly intensified as four parties exchanged bids until the property was declared on the market at $ 413,000.<\/p>\n
Two bidders continued to fight it out, with the property knocked down to the winning bidder for $426,500.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis sale is yet another sign of the growing popularity of Winchelsea with our office selling two other properties for excellent prices in the week prior,\u201d Mr Bennett said.<\/p>\n
