Bash passes fun test with flying colours"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THE Anglesea Art House&#8217;s Kids Art Bash program continues to thrive and be a creative hub for the region&#8217;s youth as it enters its 37th year in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>More than 80 children have been turning out each day this January to create, paint and decorate at the house, with a group of more than 40 volunteers helping to assemble plenty of activities to keep the children busy.<\/p>\n<p>Anglesea Art House president Jennifer O&#8217;Sullivan said the program continues to give children a fantastic artistic experience.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_89248\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-89248\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-89248 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/IMG_7842_72992-1-600x380.jpg?_t=1673322584\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"380\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-89248\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">harlotte McKee chose to do some canvas painting last Thursday.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_89247\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-89247\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-89247 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/IMG_7844_72998-1-600x380.jpg?_t=1673322579\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"380\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-89247\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The program has attracted more than 80 children per day.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a community service for children of all ages, it&#8217;s super family friendly and at a good price.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The kids can paint on canvases, do china paintings, mosaics, decorate terracotta pots and then can also take home &#8216;art-to-go bags&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They can do mixed medium arts and use fabric, wool, string or glitter, it just depends on what the kids want to do.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Last year was a tough year for kids and to see the smiles and excitement that they have doing the activities is just amazing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_89249\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-89249\" id=\"caption-attachment-89250\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Kids Art Bash will run until January 22.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The program has managed to work around the pandemic, and has used extra spacing, cleaning and air purifiers to negotiate and avoid having to shut down.<\/p>\n<p>Ms O&#8217;Sullivan said the main notion of the program is not teaching, but rather place to come, we&#8217;ve got a coffee van in our car park and kids can do their art and the parents can get a coffee,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a really awesome
