The newest land lots at Torquay North have hit the market this week in a chance to snap up increasingly rare residential land blocks within the seaside town.<\/p>\n

Stretton Torquay is a development of land from the estate of Andrew White \u2013 for whom the town’s Whites Beach is named, and who is considered one of the early entrpreneurs of Geelong and Torquay through an association to the district that stretches back more than 150 years.<\/p>\n
The former estate was in excess of 9,000 acres from Mount Duneed to Torquay before its dispersal in 1952 through a large public auction.<\/p>\n
The resulting development draws on the history of White’s estate and build a lasting legacy for the community.<\/p>\n
