Photo: JAMES TAYLOR<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From today (Friday, March 3) until Sunday, March 5, Avalon 2023 becomes Australia&#8217;s largest public airshow, featuring a program of Australian Defence Force, foreign military and civil aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>These include the Royal Australian Air Force Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II and Roulettes aerobatic team, the US Air Force Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor, and a host of other military and civil performers.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_94595\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-94595\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-94595 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/03\/IMG_1320_07895-1-600x380.jpg?_t=1677639446\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"380\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-94595\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Paul Bennet Airshows Skyaces will show off some outrageous acrobatics. Photo: JAMES TAYLOR<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In a first for Australia, the Republic of Korea Air Force Black Eagles team will feature on the flying program. This will be the first time the internationally renowned team or its Korea Aerospace Industries T-50 Golden Eagle jets has performed their award-winning aerobatic display in this country.<\/p>\n<p>AMDA Foundation organises and runs Avalon 2023, and chief executive officer Justin Giddings said the airshow and expo&#8217;s success so far reflected a buoyant Australian industry.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_94596\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-94596\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-94596 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/03\/IMG_0882_47550-1-600x380.jpg?_t=1677639450\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"380\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-94596\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">One of the classic warbirds &#8211; the Supermarine Spitfire.
