From July 1, any new applications from households for additional bins will be charged a yearly fee ($135 for garbage bins, $48 for recycling bins and $62 for green bins). Cr Peter Murrihy said the user pays system is about cost recovery, and any cost increases would be in line with the cost of the service only.
