The organisation which supports local creatives will be selling gifts handmade by artists on Tuesday 17 December from 1pm until 4pm.

BMAC president Alison Durham said there will be a variety of artworks available.

“It’s our members who are making handmade gifts,” she said.

“The artists who belong to BMAC are having a table with anything they’ve made or anything they’ve made and want to sell as handcrafted gifts.”

This is the first time the organisation has run a Christmas shop and Ms Durham said the idea came from the group’s new meeting location at the library.

“We’re having the meetings now at the library,” she said.

“We thought for our Christmas meeting that we’d have a little market as such.”

Ms Durham encoiyraged the community to come along and discover unique gift ideas.

“It’s something individual, it’s something that has been made with love and the artists use their talent to create,” she said.
