Bacchus Marsh Flower and Garden Show to bloom

How impressive is your garden produce?

THE climax of Spring this year in Moorabool Shire will be the annual Flower and Garden Show to be held in the Bacchus Marsh Public Hall over the weekend of 26 and 27 October.

Entries for Roses, Cut Flowers, Floral Art, Australian Natives, Pot Plants, Garden Produce, Jams and Preserves are welcome.

The cake decorating section is always popular.

There are also sections devoted to Photography and Cake Decorating. The younger members of our community are encouraged to enter, for example, a Diorama, Fairy Garden, Decorated Saucers and free standing Scarecrow,

Aside from the competitions there will be local not-for-profit organisation stalls plus free face painting and balloon twisting. Devonshire tea is also available.

The Show will be officially opened by immediate past Moorabool Shire mayor Ally Munari, at 3pm on Saturday 26 October.

The younger members of the community are encouraged to enter. BELOW: Floral competitions include sections for roses, cut flowers and floral art.

The Show will be open to the public from 12pm until 4pm on Saturday and 10am until 4pm on Sunday.

Come to the Public Hall to experience the sights and smells of springtime concentrated in one venue.

People will also be able to buy plants throughout the weekend from the Show’s plant stall.
