Create unique Christmas gifts
MOORABOOL Shire Council is inviting the community to create Christmas gifts at local libraries this month.
Sessions held at Ballan Library on Saturday 7 December and Lederderg Library on Thursday 12 December will provide new or experienced crafters with a chance to create unique gifts.
The sessions are free and open to people of all ages.
Mayor Cr Paul Tatchell encouraged community members to come along, get crafting and make new friends.
“Whether you’re an experienced crafter or a newbie, the Christmas craft sessions at Lerderderg and Ballan libraries will be a fun and festive activity,” he said.
“Participants will get to make homemade Christmas craft items to decorate their houses, and will have the opportunity to connect with others and have a laugh – our friendly library team will make it a fun experience for everyone.”
The Ballan Library is at 142 Inglis Street, Ballan and the Lederderg Library is at 215 Main Street, Bacchus Marsh.
