Moorabool libraries prepare to mark Harmony Week
MOORABOOL Shire Council will recognise Harmony Week with storytime and craft activities at local libraries.
Harmony Week is on from Monday 17 to Sunday 23 March and celebrates diversity, inclusiveness and respect.
Storytime sessions and craft activities that encourage being inclusive will be held at Ballan Library on Wednesday 19 March and Lerderderg Library on Thursday 20 March.
Mayor Cr Paul Tatchell encouraged the community to get involved.
“We have several activities happening to celebrate Harmony Week, including storytime and craft at both Ballan and Lerderderg libraries,” he said.
“These events are open to everybody and are all about coming together to enjoy craft and stories.
“Harmony Week is about inclusiveness and respect, and we hope to get as many people as possible to our library events to share stories and learn from each other.”
Each session will run from 10am to 11am and bookings are not required.
