A tiny step forward

A Mount Egerton woman’s experience with domestic violence motivated her to make a change for women in similar situations.
Local author Briony Jenkinson said she wrote her novel, The Phoenix Project, to raise money for a women’s respite village in the Moorabool Shire.
Ms Jenkinson said her vision was to create a space for women to feel safe when fleeing domestic violence and, wanted to “utilise the concept of Tiny Houses in the Shire”.
