Aged care heroes recognised

It was Aged Care Employee Day last week, and residents at Ballan District Health & Care spent the day creating artwork to thank their carer’s.
The COVID-19 pandemic has put new responsibilities on the shoulders of those that look after the elderly – responsibilities that are particularly important given how vulnerable older people are to the virus.
Aged care workers across the country have had to make changes to protect residents and patients, and BDHC staff are no exception.
