App to keep residents connected
A NEW app will help Moorabool Shire Council residents report an issue or stay up to date with information.
The Antenno app launched this month and allows residents to receive news and reminders on their phone about topics such as bin days, road closures, rate payment reminders and consultation opportunities.
Residents can also report issues like potholes and dumped rubbish.
“It’s just another way we’re thinking about how to best reach our residents with the information they need and want,” Moorabool Shire Council mayor Cr Paul Tatchell said.
“Residents can set their own notifications – for example you can opt in to receive news about early years and kindergarten enrolments, or if that’s not applicable to you, you won’t receive it.
“The customisation and the fact you’ll never have to guess again about which bin to put out on bin day is going to be very welcomed by the community.”
