Back in the saddle

The first Pony Club rally for 2022 is this Sunday 6 February.

The Bacchus Marsh Pony Club will finally be in their new club rooms at the Bacchus Marsh Racecourse and recreation reserve and their canteen will be operating. The new clubrooms are part of a major upgrade at the racecourse reserve.

A club spokesperson said it is an exciting time and they are hoping to build up their membership.

“If you have a horse or pony and want to have some fun, improve your skills and learn about your four legged friends along the way, come on out for a look at what Pony Club is all about.”

Pony Club rally’s are held once a month, on the first Sunday of each month, and offer four x 1hr lessons covering a variety of riding disciplines. Online registration with Pony Club Victoria is required prior to attending your first rally with your horse.

Ballan Pony Club operates on the same monthly format as Bacchus Marsh, with both clubs in the Barwon Zone. Ballan Pony Club is situated at the Ballan Racecourse Reserve.
