Be a voice on the panel

Western Water is calling on its customers to provide advice on how it charges for water and sewer services.
Last week, 12,000 randomly selected Western Water customers received an invitation in the mail, inviting them to register their interest to take part in the community panel.
Graham Holt, General Manager, Customer, Community Relations and Operations, said that customers should check their mail for their invite and take the opportunity to “have their say”.
“The deliberations will provide our customers with a great opportunity to share their views on how Western Water charges for its services,” he said.
“It will enable Western Water to ensure our tariff structure reflects customer values and priorities,” he said.
The representative community panel will consist of around 30 members, chosen by an independent recruitment agency.
The panel will meet several times over June and July, where they will be presented with detailed information on the tariff structure.
The community panel will then be asked to provide recommendations to Western Water.
Community members can find out more about the project by visiting haveyoursay.westernwater.com.au
The deadline for submissions is Friday 7 June 2019.
