As you walk along the main street of Ballan, visitors are greeted by wool creations along the route, it is once again, the year of Winter Knits, and its competition time.
As school holidays arrive, organisers Wombat Regional Arts Network are calling for everybody to rug up in warm winter gear and explore Inglis Street.
“We have nine-questions we are asking school students to answer as they go on a ‘scavenger hunt’ style experience,” Carmel Hunter said.
