Calling all musical youth
If you are young and local, then you have the opportunity to co-curate a 100 per cent youth led high calibre event.
If you are aged 16-25, you’re invited to plan and perform at an all-ages music event.
To be held at the Ballan Mechanics Institute, the program will consist of practical elements along with short presentations, guest speakers and mentors. Workshops will focus on a variety of topics including, Stagecraft, collaboration for performers and production skills and, How to run an Event.
For musicians, to be part of the program you’ll be able to play your instrument at a level where you can follow simple standard chords to a song all the way through with other musicians with minimal preparation. For singers, you’ll be comfortable singing a song without the recording, for example with an instrument or a karaoke track.
If you’re not sure where your skill level is at, please contact Jen via email – [email protected]
