Calling all pest warriors

Are you attending the 2023 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show?

The Urban Plant Health Network will be there too – at the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens from 29 March to 2 April.

Agriculture Victoria is encouraging all kids to become Pest Warriors and look out for bugs in their backyards.

Our entomologists, horticulture and biosecurity staff will be around to talk about good and bad bugs you can expect to see in your neighbourhood and how to report pests if you find them.

Showbags, live minibeasts and preserved insect displays are just some of the offerings Agriculture Victoria will have available.

This year, AgVic are also holding a photo competition asking gardeners and schools to submit their best insect photos to go into the draw to win some great prizes.
