Car park finally sells

A new childcare centre and medical centre are set to be built on formerly council-owned land in Bacchus Marsh.

The site, at 3 Graham St, was sold by council pending approval of a building permit for the facilities.

The green light was given when the one objection lodged against the application was not escalated to an appeal at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal within the 21-day timeframe.

The site had previously been used as an unofficial parking area and is situated behind Flanagan’s Border Inn hotel.
