Are you ready to dive back into the Christmas spirit again?
Like it or not, the Christmas decorations are already in the supermarkets and the adverts in local newspapers.
The Bacchus Marsh Choral Group will again be holding their annual Christmas concert this Sunday.
Performing an array of well-loved Christmas carols, group member Gillian Loughman says they have been practicing “once a week for the last three months.”
The Bacchus Marsh Choral Group first formed almost 20 years ago, and in the last three years have been under the guide of a new director Steve Aldridge.
On what she hopes the local community will take away from the concert, Ms Loughman said, “I hope they enjoy the singing and it gets the community in the Christmas spirit!”
So, it may just be time to:
Deck the halls with boughs of holly
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
‘Tis the season to be jolly
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
The Bacchus Marsh Choral Group will hold their annual Christmas concert at St Andrews Uniting Church on Sunday 9 December, 3pm. Entry is a gold coin donation with an afternoon tea to follow.
